A wireless intranet office which has two parts, for example fixed and wireless, includes a gateway to allow communication between the two parts. The gateway comprises a register for storing information relating to the current location of a first mobile user so that information from a second user may be directed towards the first user. The first user may operate in accordance with the GSM protocol and the second user in accordance with the H.323 protocol.
