A sealing plate (21, 101) of the invented cable closing assembly is provided with a pressure plate (27, 1035, 1053) for pressing a sealing compound (33, 1061, 1063, 2011) in sealing contact with an elongated sealing object passing through a hole (23, 203, 204) performed in a face plate (105, 201, 202). The sealing plate (21, 101) contains a chamber (25, 109), which is arranged between the face plates (105, 201, 202), is connected with the hole (23, 203, 204) and is filled with sealing compound (33, 1063, 2011), whereby the pressure plate (27, 1035, 1053) is mounted movably inside the chamber 25, 109).
