In the present invention there is disclosed a toothpaste consisting of usual components and containing as a polishing agent a combination of silicic acid and calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, brushite for tooth surface regeneration. Efficiency of the invented toothpaste can be intensified by addition of magnesium ions and/or fluorophosphate ions.
