PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly sort out a granulated material and enhance a sorting process capability and make a device compact by providing a means with a plurality of guide grooves radially arranged for aligning in a row and making the granulated material flow down, on the inclined upper face of an umbrella having a receiving aperture for a granulated material. SOLUTION: A device body is housed in a body case 1 and a screw conveyor 3 for making a granulated material (a) ascend is arranged in the center of the body case 1, and further, an umbrella which spreads wide centered around the screw conveyor 3 is arranged in an upper and a lower stage at the upper end of the body case 1. Pieces of the granulated material (a) are sorted out while the pieces are made to radially flow down the inclined upper face of the umbrella 5 following the vibration of a vibrator. In this case, a plurality of guide grooves 9 are radially arranged on the upper face of the umbrella 5 from a receiving aperture 8 in a center hole part through which the screw conveyor 3 penetrates to the lower end of the outer peripheral part. Further, the color of the granulated material (a) is detected using a photosensor in every guide groove 9 to blow off rejects by means of an air jet nozzle. Thus it is possible to achieve the correct sorting of the granulated material (2).
