METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONCENTRATING BRINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more surely remove water content from aq. soln. of brine and water to control a brine concn. of the removed water content to an effluent standard or below and to effectively utilize night electric power. SOLUTION: This brine concentrating device is composed of a brine soln. tank 10 for storing the aq. soln. of the water and the brine formed by a direct contact type cooler, a pretreating part 11 for heating the aq. soln., a membrane separating part 14 for executing membrane separation, a freezing/separating part 18 for moreover separating the concd. soln. Concentrated at the separating part 14 and an ice heat storing system 31 for supplying cold heat to the separating part 14 and the freezing/separating part 18 and using the night electric power.
