PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the costs over the entire part of a tunnel including civil engineering work by eliminating the need for embedment and installation of device bodies to the wall surface of the tunnel. SOLUTION: The hydrant device 6 is diagonally installed to the position of the wall surface which is above a watchman passage 3 in the tunnel, is on the outer side of construction gages 13 and the upper side of the walking space 3a of the watchman passage 3. The hydrant device 6 is provided with a main body 7 diagonally installed on the wall surface and a door 8 having a hose reel 9 wound with a hose 10 with a nozzle on the inner side. Fire extinguishment is executed by opening the door 8 and lowering the nozzle 11 by manipulation of a start manipulation box 12.
