PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording paper which is excellent in glossiness, and is excellent in ink jet recording properties such as a printing density and a recording picture quality as well. SOLUTION: For this body to be recorded, at least two layers of an ink fixing layer containing at least one kind of a pigment selected from silica, aluminosilicate, alumina and zeolite, and an adhesive, are provided on a base material. In this case, the pigments at least in the two layers of the ink fixing layers, respectively are flocculated particle pigments wherein the average particle diameters of the secondary particles are 1 μm or lower, and also, the surface layer of the ink fixing layer is a cast-coated layer. |
