PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording sheet of which the printing density, the glossiness and the ink absorbing property are high, and of which the collapsing-cracking resistance is favorable. SOLUTION: This recording sheet has an ink receiving layer at least on one side of a supporting body. In this case, the ink receiving layer contains a vapor phase method silica of which the specific surface area by the BET method is 200 m2/g or higher, polyvinyl alcohol which is 10 to 30 wt.% to the vapor phase method silica, and a water-soluble plasticizer for the polyvinyl alcohol. |
