PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly seal the whole of parts to be sealed by using a pair of rolls even in such a case that an article to be sealed has thickness difference or basis wt. difference in its parts to be sealed. SOLUTION: A long article 1 to be sealed comprising at least two sheets and having thickness difference or basis wt. difference in its width direction is passed through the nip between a pair of rolls 2, 3 to seal the upper and lower sheets 11, 12 constituting the article to be sealed. In this sealing method, at least one roll 2 has the difference (d) in level corresponding to thickness difference or basis wt. difference in the axial length direction thereof. |
