PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a cost by a method wherein an air mix door for a front seat and an outlet mode switching door are used in common, in an air- conditioning device having a rear seat independent control function or having no said function. SOLUTION: A lower case to contain the lower side of a heat-exchanger 13 for heating is removably assembled to the under surface sides of body cases 11a and 11b to contain the upper side of an approximately vertically installed heat-exchanger 13 for heating, an air mix door 20 for a front seat, and outlet mode switching doors 26 and 31 for a front seat. This constitution forms an air-conditioning device having a rear seat independent control function by assembling a lower case provided with an air flow passage for a rear seat and forms an air-conditioning device having no rear seat independent control function by assembling a lower case serving only as a cover having no air flow passage for a rear seat.
