PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate an assembling work for a hub unit provided with a double row conical roller bearing integrally with a hub by making an inside diameter of a seal ring for sealing between an outer race inner peripheral surface and a hub main body outer peripheral surface larger than diameters of minimum circumscribing circles on bottom sides of a plurality of conical rollers of a first row conical rolling bearing. SOLUTION: A seal ring 15 is fixed to one end part of an outer race 13 by being externally fitted into a cylindrical surface part 37 formed on one end outer peripheral surface of the outer race 13 and the inner peripheral edge comes into sliding contact with an intermediate part outer peripheral surface of a hub main body 11. The inside diameter D15 is larger than a diameter D14 of a minimum circumscribing circle on bottom sides of parts 14a, 14a of a plurality of conical rollers in even the free state. At the time of an assembling, the plurality of conical rollers are held around a first inner race raceway track 19 on an outer peripheral surface of the hub main body 11 by a first cage 29 and the outer race 13 is advanced into the surrounding of the hub main body 11, but the seal ring 15 does not interfere with a part of the conical rollers and the cage 29 because the inside of the seal ring 15 is larger than the minimum circumscribing circle on the bottom sides of the conical rollers.
