PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a rise in temperature of an actuator and to improve reliability of the actuator by canceling a cruise control by a controller when temperature data imparted by an actuator temperature estimating means exceeds a preliminarily fixed value. SOLUTION: In a microcomputer 13 of a controller ECU, a control part 14, an actuator temperature estimating means 18, a temperature discriminating means 19, a cancel means 20 and the like are incorporated. When it is discriminated that coil temperature data estimated by the temperature estimating means 18 exceeds a preliminarily fixed first value, a cancel means on command signal is supplied to the cancel means 20 and a cancel command signal is further supplied to the control part 14. A clutch 5b of the actuator 5 is turned off and a cruise control is canceled. As a result, a rise in temperature of the actuator is prevented and reliability of the actuator is improved.
