PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid supply system, capable of supplying a liquid preferably even in the case the use environment is changed, without liquid leakage. SOLUTION: When a liquid is supplied from a liquid supply container 30 to a capillary force generating member storage container 10 by the gas-liquid exchange, a gas-liquid interface L is generated in a capillary force generating member 13 as a boundary between a part containing a liquid and a part not containing a liquid. A preferable fiber member layer is formed in the capillary force generating member 13 in the direction specific to the liquid flowability so as to stabilize the gas-liquid interface L. Accordingly, generation of liquid leakage due to deformation of the gas-liquid interface L so as to move a part of the surface to the upper end of the capillary force generating member 13, or stagnation of the liquid supply due to the movement thereof to below the upper end of a gas-liquid exchange path 14 can be restrained.
