RECYCLABLE WATERPROOF CORRUGATED BOARD HAVING FEATHER POWDER-CONTAINING COATED FILM, AND PRODUCTION OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recyclable waterproof corrugated board having water resistance and heat resistance and capable of easily being formed through a usual corrugating machine utilizing feather, and also provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: A coating agent 15 is prepared by blending 5-40 wt.% feather powder 16 with a coating material mainly comprising a polyurethane-based resin capable of easy maceration and a solvent. The coating agent is applied in an amount of 5-20 g/m2 to the surface of at least one of liners in a corrugated board. The coating process is conducted by adjusting the viscosity of the coating agent to 20-2,000 cP, applying the coating agent 15 to at least one liner through a coater and then drying them to form urethane bond, so that the coating agent is cured.
