PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a U-shape bracket of a small bolt span and having a given width measurement at an inner circular part of a roundly bent part inexpensively by only performing a press work to one sheet of a metal plate. SOLUTION: A U-shape bracket 10 can be obtained wherein, a long metal plate 20 is punched at an out punching process (a), portions 20c, which are forming into cylindrical parts 16 are folded, by 180 deg. at a hemming bend process (b) and, both side parts of a portion 20a, which forms a roundly bent part 12, and a portion 20b which forms a linear part 14 are bent nearly in a right angle at a flange bending process (c) for molding an out looking flange 22. At a U-bending process (d), the roundly bent part 12 is molded by applying a bending work to the roundly bend molding portion 20a. At a coining process (e), the cylinder part forming portions 20c are rounded into a cylindrical part 16, and at an end face pressing process (f), the cylindrical part 16 and the end face of the linear part 14 are molded into flat. The coining process (e) may be performed prior to the U-bending process (d).
