PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make one kind of clip member corresponding to articles such as many kinds of foot rests and to facilitate an assembly of the clip member to a cylinder for receiving the clip. SOLUTION: In the mounting structure of article for mounting an article 30 to a stud bolt 40 through a clip member 10 and a cylinder 33 for receiving the clip 10, the clip member 10 has the required number of elastic engagement pieces elastically engaged with an outer periphery groove of the stud bolt 40 and a cylinder 11 inserted into an inner hole of the cylinder 33 for receiving the clip 10 projected to one side of the article. A plurality of flexible pieces 22 elastically deflected by making a tip end to a free end by a cut-in groove 21 cut-in on the cylinder 11 are formed on the cylinder 11 respectively. Removal- stop projection 23 engageable with removal-stop apertures 35 provided on the cylinder 33 for receiving the clip 10 are formed on outer side surfaces of a plurality of flexible pieces 22 respectively.
