PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the working method of the fitting seat of a base isolation device and the base isolation base plate using thereto easy in handling and efficient in productivity with simple members and the construction using the members. SOLUTION: The working method of the fitting seat of a base isolation device and the base isolation base plate 3 is provided with screw holes 11 for fixing the base isolation device to the one side surface of the fitting parts of the base isolation device; and the base isolation base plate 3 is directly fixed to the foundation making part of a plurality of fixing bolts 14 provided to the fitting parts 10 of the base isolation device of level adjusting struts 6 of the base isolation base plate 3. The other fixing bolts 14 are released from the foundation, so that the reduction in use materials and the enhancement in productivity due to simplification of level adjusting work can be achieved.
