PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety fence for a manhole excellent in housing and capable of coping with different manholes with only one kind. SOLUTION: Adjacent frame bodies are joined by a connection member 5 so as to fold the four frame bodies 1 making a quadrangle by bending a pipe, when they are arranged so as to surround a manhole 6, a plurality of respectively different manhole-engaging members 2, 3 engaged with the different manhole 6 are rotatably attached. Engaging plates 2a, 3a engaged with the manhole 6 are provided on the rotating edge side of the manhole engaging members 2, 3.
