PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open side type bicycle tire to improve cut resistance at a tire flank and besides be excellent in running performance. SOLUTION: In an open side type bicycle tire 1 having a carcass exposed at the side wall part 3 of a tire, the tire is provided with a reinforcing material 7 and a carcass 5 consists of a continuous part 5a and folded part 5b, and the length of the folded part 5b is in a range of 50-90% of a distance between the two bead parts 2.
