PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance strength such as tear strength or the like against an external impact and to ensure shape-followability, in a sheetlike elastomer wherein a fabric is interposed between a plurality of elastic sheets in a non- peelable state, by providing directionality to the bending resistance of the elastic sheets. SOLUTION: A sheetlike elastomer 10 for reducing the impact due to the collision with a small stone or the like is constituted by providing a plurality of reed screen-like fabrics 20 to which bending resistance having directionality is imparted between two elastic sheets 16, 16 forming both outer surface layers. A means imparting bending resistance having directionality to the fabrics 20 is achieved by changing the strength in a longitudinal or lateral direction due to the warp or weft yarns constituting the fabrics 20 or by changing the thickness of the warp or weft yarns. When this sheetlike elastomer 10 is used as the lining material of the fender of an agricultural cultivator, the sheetlike elastomer is fixed to the rear surface of the fender covering the rotary part of a tractor or the like in opposed relation to the rotary part.
