PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of noise and frictional heat structurally even if power transmission is cut off due to overload. SOLUTION: This power transmission 1 is composed of a pulley (a driving side rotating member) 4 rotatably mounted on a housing 3 of a compressor 2 for a car air conditioner, a hub (a driven side rotating member) 6 mounted on a rotating shaft 5 of the compressor 2, and a torque limiter mechanism 7 for connecting the pulley 4 and the hub 6. The torque limiter mechanism 7 is composed of a friction member 15, a retaining plate 16 and an elastic member 17. A connection part 17d of the elastic member 17 is elastically deformed, and a held part 17c is held by the friction member 15 and the retaining plate 16. When the rotating shaft 5 is stopped by the generation of overload, the held part 17c is detached from a clearance between the friction member 15 and the retaining plate 16, and the connection part 17d is elastically reset in an axial direction. |
