PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling construction for ceiling backing rail in eaves soffit which reduces constituent components, positions the ceiling backing rails each other and simplifies the coupling work. SOLUTION: A linking groove 24 of an upper opening along the longitudinal direction of a main rail 20 is formed on the outer side surface of the main rail 20 forming a backing portion 10 of an eaves soffit fixed to the building frame, a coupling fittings 39 having a connectable hook-shaped linking piece 39b is attached to an end portion of another sub-rail 30 to be coupled, the hook-shaped linking piece 39b is linked to the linking groove 24 of the main rail 20, and the main rail 20 and subrail 30 are coupled to an intersecting shape. |
