PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a ferrite composition capable of providing sufficiently high sintered density and electromagnetic characteristics even at a low baking temperature, and further to provide a ferrite sintered compact, a laminate-type electronic part and production method thereof. SOLUTION: This ferrite composition comprising a ferrite powder consisting essentially of iron oxide (Fe2O3), nickel oxide (NiO), copper oxide (CuO) and zinc oxide (ZnO) has only one peak of a particle size distribution of the magnetic ferrite powder within the range of 0.4-0.8 μm. The composition also can have two peaks of the particle size distribution, and in the case, the position of the first peak is within the range of 0.4-0.8 μm, and the second peak within the range of 0.8-10 μm. The ratio (B/A) of the frequency % (B) of the second peak within the range of 0.8-10 μm, to the frequency % (A) of the first peak within the range of 0.4-0.8 μm is <=0.2. |
