PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify flow paths of air and a cutting fluid. SOLUTION: A cutting fluid delivered from a supply source 32 flows into a coolant nozzle 26 through a check valve 34, a rotary joint 8, a back passage 6d of a push rod 6, a duct hole 5a of a rod guide 5, connecting holes 2a and 13a of a rotary face plate 2 and a retainer 13, respectively. When the push rod 6 advances to fit in an adapter 20, the cutting fluid (or air) passes the check valve 34 (or 35), the rotary joint 8, the back passage 6d of the push rod 6, a connecting channel 5b of the rod guide 5, a front passage 6e of the push rod 6, a communicating hole 20a of the adapter 20 and a connection pipe 19 in that order. Since the common part of the flow passages of the air and the cutting fluid is long, flow paths of the cutting fluid and the air can be simplified to that extent.
