PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching device for rotation transmission of making it possible to switch the driving from lift moving to horizontal moving with one driving source. SOLUTION: At the driving part of wheelchair lifter, which puts in and out to the back part floor of car F, a screw shaft for horizontal moving 1 and a screw shaft for lift moving are set in parallel and the driven gears 3, 4 are set on the both base end parts. A driving gear 7 is set on the driving shaft 6 that is connected to the power source 5 opposed to the driven gears 3, 4. A gear change mechanism, which selects one of the driven gear for horizontal moving 3 and driven gear for lift moving 4 and makes be enable to engage, is set against the driving gear 7 through a change gear 8.
