<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give accurate folding lines to sheets, ensure folding of the sheets and allow simple binding in desired conditions. SOLUTION: In this device, sheets are fed along a carrying passage and the rear ends of the sheets are cut one by one by a cutter. A single sheet folding part gives folding lines one by one (step S7). When a preset number of sheets are reserved in an alignment part (YES in step S9), staples are driven along the folding lines of the aligned sheets by a binder (step S10) and the bunch of sheets are folded in duplication along the folding lines by a folding part (Step S11).</p> |
