PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminatingly detect an opened state and a closed state of a door and a half-door state by arranging a light emitting element provided on one side of a vehicle main body and a door for vehicle so as to successively face first and second light receiving elements provided on the other side and pass each other by opening and closing the door. SOLUTION: When a door 10 is closed, a light emitting element 48 provided on the door 10 side faces a first light receiving element 38 provided on a vehicle main body 20 side. Because the light emitting element 48 periodically outputs a signal for detecting opening and closing of the door 10, the signal is received by the first light receiving element 38 when the door 10 is closed and the signal is taken into an opening and closing detection circuit 24, a door closed state is detected. Because the signal is not received by both of the first and second light receiving elements 38, 39 when the door is opened, a door opened state is detected. In a half-door state, the light emitting element 48 becomes a state that the element 48 faces the second light receiving element 39 and the half-door state is detected from an output signal of the second light receiving element 39. |
