PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an insecticide/miticide especially effective against insect pests/mite having acquired resistance by including a specific compound and a specific organic phosphoric ester-based compound. SOLUTION: This insecticide/miticide is obtained by including (A) 4- bromo-2-(4-chlorophenyl)-1-(ethoxymethyl)-5-(trifluoromethyl)pyrrole-3 -carbonitrile and (B) an organic phosphoric ester-based compound of formula I or II [X is O or S; Y is O, S or the like; R1 is a 1-6C alkyl; R2 is a 1-8C alkoxy or the like; R3 is a (substituted) 1-8C alkyl, group of formula III, or the like] (e.g. O,O-dimethyl-O-p-cyanophenyl thiophosphate) in the weight ratio B/A of pref. 0.01-100. This insecticide/miticide can be made into a preparation in the form of a hydrate, aqueous solution, emulsion or the like by formulating a support and auxiliary(ies). |
