<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deterioration prediction method of a catalyst free to use for selection of an optimum catalyst suitable for various using environments. SOLUTION: A deteriorating state of a catalyst is predicted by computing a catalyst temperature distribution (n+1) and an oxygen density distribution (n+1) in accordance with a catalyst precious metal grain diameter distribution (n) and a reaction rate distribution (n), computing the catalyst precious metal particle size distribution (n+1) in accordance with them and a poisoning quantity distribution (n+1), computing a frequency factor distribution (n+1) in accordance with this and the poisoning quantity distribution (n+1) and computing the reaction rate distribution (n+1) in accordance with this.</p> |
