METHOD FOR BLOCKING OPENING OF RESIN PIPE, BLOCKING MEMBER FOR OPENING OF RESIN PIPE, AND RETAINING JIG

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily blocking a hole opened in a resin pipe, even in medium pressure piping. SOLUTION: An opening is blocked by a blocking member 1 for the opening through bringing a pipe contact part 6 into contact with a resin pipe 11. High-frequency current is applied to a coil mounted on the pipe contact part 6 of a jig 5 under the described state to generate a high frequency electromagnetic wave. Consequently, eddy current is induced to a magnetic material provided on a blocker 1 for the opening and the magnetic material is heated, which in turn, fuses the peripheral part of the blocker 1 to the peripheral part of the opening of the resin pipe 11 and thus the opening is blocked. In this case, the leakage of gas to the outside does not occur as the jig 5 and the like are set in a sealed box 18. After completion of the blocking process, a hook mechanism for engaging the blocker 1 with the pipe contact part 6 is disengaged by pulling up an extruding bar 7 and as a result, the jig 5 and the sealed box 18 are separated from the resin pipe 11.
