PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of an image void by specifying a surface hardness of a roller used for a pressing means in a stencil printer for printing by pressing a sheet supplied from a sheet feeding means on a plate cylinder by a pressing means and transferring an ink through a stencil plate portion of a master. SOLUTION: A press roller 47 as a pressing means for pressing a supplied sheet on a plate cylinder 30 mounting a master 20 is constituted by providing a rubber portion 100 made of inner and outer rubber layers 102, 101 around a mandrel 80 made of a metal. In this case, the outer layer 101 is formed of a material having harder hardness than that of the layer 102. That is, a hardness of the portion 100 is set to 8 to 14 degrees (JIS-A) on the layer 102 and to 30 to 40 degrees on the layer 101 to prevent dropping of a porous resin film 20-2 by reducing the hardness as much as possible. Thus, stickiness of the surface is eliminated, tearing of the rubber is prevented, and adhering of a thin printing sheet to the roller 47 can be avoided.
