PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely position a portion to be processed into a recessed part and a projecting part at a position corresponding to a molding means, even if contaminant or dusts are adhered to a can barrel by forming two or more marks for positioning a pattern printed on a peripheral face of the can barrel at a given position, on a peripheral face of the can barrel. SOLUTION: A CAN pattern (letters) 15 is printed on the peripheral face of a can barrel 11 of a can body 10. A recessed part 16 is molded on the can barrel 11 at least at one part of CAN under the condition that it is aligned with the pattern 15. In order to apply mold processing while the pattern 15 is matched with the recessed part 16, a molding means for applying the projecting part 16 requires to be accurately aligned against the pattern 15. A positioning mark 17 is required for alignment, and has two marks of a stopping mark 17a and a checking mark 17b, both of which are formed on the same perimeter of the can barrel.
