PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shredder capable of obtaining a shredding performance stabilized by a simple structure when thick papers are cut. SOLUTION: A driving mechanism 9 provided inside a case body 1, and a pair of shaft bodies 17 and 17' which are driven by the driving mechanism 9 are provided. Roller guides 18 and 18' being a pair of shaft presser bodies are almost parallel to each other arranged outside a pair of shaft bodies 17 and 17' along almost the whole length of the shaft bodies 17 and 17' in the case body 1. Each one side of the roller guides 18 and 18' is constituted so as to come in contact with each one side of the shaft bodies 17 and 17' and be pushed in an inner direction. When the paper are cut, both ends of shaft bodies 17 and 17', are supported by the first bearing part 12 and the second bearing part 13 which are positioned at both ends, and even middle positions of the shaft bodies 17 and 17' are supported by being pushed inside, and cutting can be excellently continued.
