PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a main body from being heated to a high temperature by a heater in an electric hot plate. SOLUTION: The lampblack heated to a high temperature by a heater 3 passes through fat/oil lampblack passing holes 2, is mixed with the high- temperature gas heated below a plate 1, and flows into a duct cover 28 through an intake port. The air in a room flows into the duct cover 28 from intake ports D28a through intake ports C22c disposed on both side faces of the outer frame 22 of a main body. The cooling air from a cooling fan 9 flows into the duct cover 28 through intake ports 28b on the duct cover 28, and the cooling air flows into the duct cover 28 from many intake ports B6a bored on a duct 6, thereby the temperature ranging from the duct cover 28 to the duct 6 is lowered. The mixed gas of the lampblack and cooling air passes through a filter 8 and a ventilation path A to cool the surrounding of the ventilation path A and is discharged from an exhaust port A22d and an exhaust port B.
