摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly efficiently design and develop a tire by predicting performance of the tire to be actually used through a fluid such as drainage properties, on-snow performance and noise performance. SOLUTION: A tire model and a liq. model are prepd. from a tire design plan and a frictional coefficient μ is selected together with a road surface model to input a road surface condition and a boundary condition when a tire is rotated or not rotated is set and a design variable and a constraint condition are determined (100-104) and a model is obtd. When the design variable is changed by a nut amt. Δr1 (106-110) and by obtaining a calculation on deformation of the tire model, a calculation on a fluid and a boundary condition, tire performance is predicted (112) and values on a objective function and the constraint condition and sensitivity on every design variable are operated and while the tire performance is predicted and the constraint condition are taken into consideration, a predicted value of amt. of change in design variable to make the value of the objective function max. is obtd. and it is repeated until the value of the objective function converges (114-124). When the value of the objective function converges to the predicted value, the shape of the tire is determined based on the design variable.
