PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition excellent in weatherability, heat resistance and low temperature flexibility. SOLUTION: A synthetic softener made of a copolymer of ethylene and anα-olefin having 3 to 20 carbon atoms wherein the copolymer has a number average molecular weight of 400 to 2,000, a flow point of -25 deg.C or below, and a viscosity index of 120 or over, is compounded in a copolymerized rubber of ethylene and anα-olefin having 3 to 20 carbon atoms, It is preferred that the synthetic softener has a flash point of 240 deg.C or over.
