PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the clogging of a dehydrating and desalting device in a composting treatment device which can provide a high quality compost, by removing salts from the compost. SOLUTION: Garbage A is finely crushed, subjected to repeated dehydration and hydration treatments to remove salts contained in the garbage A, and then charged into a composting treatment 8 to compost the charged crushed garbage without leaving the salts in the compost. Since the salts, oils, and so on, are not contained, the composting of the garbage is consequently accelerated, and feeds, matures composts and the like which have high qualities can be provided. In a salt-removing device 7, a clogging-preventing device is attached to the outer peripheral surface of a dehydration cylinder 9 and then rotated and revolved to prevent the clogging of the water-supplying holes and draining holes of the dehydration cylinder 9. |
