PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for forming an embossed sheet capable of expressing a preferable 'brazing' without generating a gap or a lump by generating a plurality of parallel line tint patterns based on a two-dimensional scalar field of a fiber dividing angle and using the plurality of the patterns. SOLUTION: A two-dimensional scalar field in which a fiber dividing angle is defined at each point is input (S1), and two different formal parallel line tint patterns are generated based on the two-dimensional scalar field (S2). Then, an OR operation and an AND operation of the two patterns are executed (S3) to form OR parallel line tint and AND parallel line tint. Then, after etching according to the obtained OR parallel line tint pattern, the sheet is etched according to the AND parallel line tint pattern to form an embossing plate (S4). Since the formed embossed plate has a plurality of stages in the parallel line tint, a light scattering effect due to the parallel line tint is enhanced as compared with a direct formation from the original formal parallel line tint pattern. As a result, undesired brazing on the embossed sheet can be prevented. |
