PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the image receiving layer of an image receiving sheet and others from being peeled off and adhering to a cleaning roller by separating the roller from a recording medium immediately before the rear end of the recording medium passes through the roller, in an apparatus in which the roller is brought into contact with the recording medium during the conveyance or the medium. SOLUTION: A recording apparatus 30 capable of forming a full-color image is fitted with a supply part for a toner sheet 10 and an image receiving sheet 12, a rotary drum 34 for holding the sheet 10 and others at an image recording position, a lamination mechanism 38 arranged on the periphery of the drum 34, an exposure means 40, and others. During image formation, when the image receiving sheet 12, before reaching the drum 34, passes through a pair of cleaning rollers 56a, 56b, which are adhesion rollers, dust adherent to the sheet 12 is removed. Immediately before the rear end of the sheet 12 passes between the rollers 56a, 56b, the roller 56a is elevated to be removed from the sheet 12, and in this state, the rear end of the sheet 12 is made to pass through the rollers 56a, 56b. |
