PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording device capable of delivering ordinary papers inserted after printing from a recording device as they are, minimizing ink bleeding, and having excellent water resistance and paper shelf life after printing. SOLUTION: A powder 3 adhered to an intermediate transferrer 11, attracts ink in an ink jet writing section 2, absorbs the water content of the ink, swells and gains viscosity, and is transferred to a transfer medium 5 in a transfer section 4. Negative voltage is applied to the aluminum pipe 11a of the intermediate transferrer 11 from a power supply, and the powder 3 on the intermediate transferrer 11 is positively charged. The changed powder 3 is attracted to the intermediate transferrer 11 by an electrical field formed by negative voltage applied to the aluminum pipe 11a. When moved to the transfer section 4 in an attracted state, the powder 3 whose viscosity has increased has a higher adhesion to a transfer medium (paper) 5, and transferred to the paper 5. However, the powder 3b whose viscosity has not increased remains on the intermediate transferrer 11, and the powder is not adhered to the part of the transfer medium 5 for which transfer is not required. |
