摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control circuit for a dynamo-electric brake that can shorten the rise time of a braking force in the dynamo-electric brake in the event of sudden braking or panic braking, etc. SOLUTION: This control circuit for a dynamo-electric brake includes and electric motor 3 whose output varies depending on the driving voltage supplied, a braking mechanism which generates braking forces by using the electric motor 3 as a driving source, a motor drive circuit 13 which outputs a driving voltage to the electric motor 3, and a control unit 15 for controlling the operation of the motor drive circuit 13. A boost-up means 17 is provided for boosting up the driving voltage supplied to the electric motor 3, and the control unit 15 monitors the operating condition of the brake and actuates the boost-up means 17 thus increasing the driving voltage supplied to the electric motor 3.
