<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating waste plastics without reducing the coke strength of products. SOLUTION: In the method for treating waste plastics in a coke oven, the waste plastics are divided into a fine particle content and a coarse particle content, and the fine particle content is added into briquettes and the coarse particle content is added into fine coal, and the resulting briquettes and fine coal are subjected to carbonization. Furthermore, a coking filler is added into the briquettes. The particle diameter of the fine particle content is smaller than 6 mm and that of the coarse particle content is not smaller than 6 mm.</p> |
