PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nut capable of holding a sufficient fastening state even in the case of the dimensions of a fastening part being small and screwed and fixed to a wood girder or the like. SOLUTION: This nut 1 is composed of a stopper piece 10 with a bolt insert hole formed at the large diameter side end part of a nut body and having a bolt insert hole; two or more guide pieces formed in the axis direction of an internal wall surface of the nut body; two or more nut segments 13 fitted slidably in the axis direction between the guide pieces and provided with threads formed on the internal wall surfaces so as to be thread-fastened to a bolt; an energizing spring 15 stored in the nut body so as to constantly energize the nut segments 13 to the small diameter side of the nut body; a flange 16 integrally or independently fixed to the small diameter side outer peripheral part of the nut body so as to project outward; and a cylindrical fixing member 18 provided at the small diameter side end of the flange 16 and provided with a tapping screw 17 formed at the outer peripheral part.
