PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the influence on an environment by a punch waste (refuge), the increase of a noise and the drop of a suction performance, in an electric fan in which an exhaust port is formed on the outer periphery of a fan cover. SOLUTION: In an electric fan 5 composed by forming an exhaust port 65a for discharging one part or all of an exhaust wind discharged from a centrifugal fan 63 on the outer periphery of a fan cover 65 for covering the centrifugal fan 63, a cut up piece 65c bent to the inside by an angle less than 90 deg. after forming a notch, in which one side 65b opposite to the rotation direction of the centrifugal fan 63 is left, on the outer periphery of the fan cover is formed, at the forming time of the exhaust port 65a of the outer periphery of the fan cover.
