PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the miniaturization by forming the stator iron core of an electric motor part to be housed in a sealed vessel together with a compressing mechanism part from a yoke part and a teeth part, directly winding a coil on the teeth part, and setting the end surface of a rotor closer to the compressing mechanism part from the outer diameter side. SOLUTION: In this enclosed motor driven compressor, a rotor 1 is rotated by the current carrying to the coil 10 of the stator 3 of an electric motor part 7 housed in a sealed vessel 26 together with a compressing mechanism part 6, and a coolant is compressed in the compressing mechanism part 6 by the rotation of a crankshaft 24 fixed to the rotor 1. The inner diameter side 2 of the rotor 1 is formed of an electric iron plate used for the stator 3, a balance weight 11 is provided on the outer diameter side 4 of the rotor 1, and the outer diameter side 4 of the rotor 1 is arranged so as to be close to the compressing mechanism part 6. On the other hand, the stator 3 is formed of a teeth part 8, a yoke part 9, and the coil 10, and the coil 10 is directly wound on the teeth part 8 to reduce the height of the coil 10, so that the miniaturization can be realized.
