PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction machine capable of using a hydraulic shovel under an environment not ensuring the working space for installing both of the hydraulic shovel and an engine generator, and ensuring a power source to a lighting system, tools and the like by comprising an output terminal for taking-out the power of the power generator to the external of the construction machine. SOLUTION: The power generated by a power generator 2 connected to an output shaft of an engine 1 is rectified and waveform-shaped by a controller 3, converted into the voltage output from an ordinary engine generator such as a sine wave of AC100 V/200 V (50/60 Hz), and taken out from an output terminal 4 connected to an output side of the controller 3. As the other output of the controller 3 is connected to a motor 5, a hydraulic pump 6 is rotated, the flow and the direction of the pressure oil discharged from the hydraulic pump 6 are controlled by a control valve 7, and the pressure oil is fed to an actuator 8. The power generated from the generator can be taken out to the external of a construction machine through the output terminal, and the taken- out power can be fed to, for example, a lighting system, tools and the like.
