PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raising claw for a raising apparatus capable of reducing the noise, abrasion, etc., of the raising claw. SOLUTION: Culm is raised in the raising path by a raising claw 5 erectably pivoted with an attaching pin 91 to an endless belt 9 extended between a driving wheel 80 and a follower wheel 81 by guiding a cam part 52 formed at the base side of the raising claw 5 with a cam guide 82. The base end opposite to the endless belt 9 at the side of the raising face 50 of the raising claw 5 is notched to form a notched part 53 to erect the raising claw 5 in a forward tilting posture in the erection of the raising claw 5.
