PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fuel, which can prevent inner walls of a fluidized bed boiler from being fouled and ensures an elongated continuous running term and an improved combustion efficiency by mixing a milled plastic waste and a fibrous material at a given ratio by weight and subjecting to compression molding at a specified density. SOLUTION: The mixture is compressed at a density of 1 g/cm3. The plastic waste is milled, pressed and bundled with a steel band in the form of a block, followed by winding with a plastic tape to wholly cover the surface thereof and store as a packaged block. A fibrous material is milled, pressed and bundled with a steel band for storage as a block. The weight of the fibrous block is set at about 20% relative to the total weight including the weight of the plastic block. The same numbers of the packaged blocks and the fibrous blocks are provided, broken into pieces and mixed, followed by removal of foreign matters, such as fractions of the steel band and the like, and compression molding.
