PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an accurate ink supply passage and to enhance mass productivity by providing a plate-like member having a groove formed to have a bulged portion at a side end of a pressuring chamber on a member for forming an ink supply passage of an ink jet head. SOLUTION: The ink jet head comprises a pressurizing chamber forming plate 1 having a diaphragm 2 and a recess 3 for forming a pressurizing chamber, and an actuator having a piezoelectric element 4 on an outer surface of the diaphragm 2. A fluid resistance forming plate 5, a connecting plate 6, a common ink channel forming plate 7 and a nozzle plate 8 are sequentially laminated on the plate 1, and liquid chambers such as a plurality of pressurizing chambers 10, a common ink channel 11 and an ink supply passage 12 or the like are formed. In this case, the plate 5 is formed with a through groove 13 of a substantially bone shape in plane having first and second openings 15, 16 of largely opened bulged portions at ends of a fine groove 14 to become a fluid resistance portion at the chamber 10 side and at the channel 11 side. Thus, staying of bubbles or generating of bubbles is prevented, and stable ink droplet discharging is guaranteed.
