PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the rigidity and flexibility of a plurality of the core material-constituting parts different in foaming magnification of a core material in an interior article consisting of the core material comprising resin foam and the skin fixed to the surface part of the core material. SOLUTION: In producing an interior article, at first, a core material constituting part 11 lowest in foaming magnification is formed by foam molding to be set to the cavity C1 of a mold K1 and beads B are charged in the cavity C1. Next, the pressure in the cavity C1 is reduced and high temp. steam is introduced into the cavity C1 to foam beads B to mold a core material constituting part 12 having predetermined foaming magnification. Subsequently, the core material constituting parts 11, 12 fixed to each other are set to a cavity C2 and prefoamed beads B are charged in the cavity C2 in a high pressure atmosphere and the pressure in the cavity C2 is reduced and high temp. steam is introduced into the cavity C2 to foam the beads B to mold the core material constituting part fixed to the core material constituting part 12.
